Hello — Bonjour — Hola — Hej — Nǐ hǎo – Hallo — [and many more ways to greet someone]

It doesn’t matter what language you prefer, I extend my greetings to you, and welcome you to learn a little about me.

You may already know me because of travel, my books, or maybe you just stumbled onto my website somehow.
Since this is a “travel” website, let’s start there. (My “personal” travel information is further down the page).

While I’ve been America’s International Travel Expert® since 2010, I recently became an Independent Travel Agent/Advisor/Consultant (they’re all the same) under a host agency called KHM Travel Group. There are many benefits to this arrangement:
> I am my own boss, meaning I am not pressured for “quota” to make $XXX sales for “the company”
> I have been able to learn a lot more about different hospitality companies and their various brands
> I can pick and choose to “work” as much as I want or as little as I want
> I can even even earn a commission on my own vacations!
> I have access to all the same booking systems as every other travel agency, meaning that if you want to work with me, I can create the perfect vacation for you that meets your exact wishes and desires
> You will never be pressured by me to “book a trip”; if it works for you, great. If it doesn’t, that’s okay.

My Travel Information
As I mentioned above, I’ve been America’s International Travel Expert® since October 2010. Although I didn’t know it at the time, my love of travel was inspired by moving many times as a youngster. My Dad was in the U.S. Navy and we moved from Southern California to Texas to Southern California to Northern California to Guam to Southern California. That travel desire sat dormant for a number of years until I started doing a lot of international travel for work. And it continued even after taking early retirement from the high-tech industry in 2007.

Overall, I have been to 62 countries (and I’ll be visiting another 19 in 2023), 172 different cruise ports, and on one four-continent business trip where I literally flew around the world. I have spoken on dozens of cruises, and I’ve also cruised as a regular passenger on many. In fact, I am currently booked on several upcoming cruises, both ocean and river!

I am frequently asked about my “favorite places” to go. Well, Los Cabos in Mexico is definitely one of the places as I’ve been there 23 times. I’ve also been to Paris, France, numerous times, including one 2-month stay. Singapore is always delightful (and clean and safe), and Nagasaki, Japan is inspiring as you walk through the Peace Park. I’ve walked across the Sydney Harbour Bridge a couple times, and even found a security flaw that I incorporated into one of my novels. There are so many more wonderful places (Copenhagen; Bergen; Stockholm, Florence, Malta, …) that it would take you hours to read about them all. We can always get together over coffee (or something else) to talk about them if you’d like.

The bottom line is that I have a lot of travel experiences that I can leverage to help make your travels so much more enjoyable.

Use the form above to let me know how I can help you!
